.I put tin foil on the inside of my windows on the south and west side of the house during summer and almost NEVER run the air. I think 2 or 3 nights last year.open the windows at night to cool whole house,close before going to work.My electric bill is around $40 bucks a month ALL YEAR LONG.. tinfoil and tape 3 dollars a year. the money I save,,,,, priceless
