I drive a 1986 Chevy S-10 that has been converted to all electric. I use NO gasoline in this truck.
I have installed a tankless water heater and cut my gas usage by 84% for hot water. I use CFL bulbs and have insulated the house, chaseways, pipes. My last electric bill was 48% less that the same time last year and that is with my charging the truck added.
