I walk to work. The car is only for errands on the weekend. I changed all bulbs to flourescent. My refrigerator and washer/dryer are energy efficient HE rating. My stove is convection. I keep everything unplugged when not in use. I have a programmable thermostat. I have six trees in my backyard (that is alot for Las Vegas). It is amazing how much cooler it is when I pass the stone walk and get to the grass. I really do try. I use the sun to dry my clothes. I would love solar panels so I could harness more of the sun's energy.
